How to Support Survivors throughout Sexual Assault Awareness Month

This year the Denim Day planning committee is calling on all businesses, schools, organizations, homes and institutions to light up in teal for SEXUAL ASSAULT AWARENESS MONTH. String teal light, dress up your store fronts or door fronts with teal fabric, ribbons, hearts or whatever creative teal display you want in the month of April.

Other ways to show support

  • Wear denim on April 28, 2021 and share with people the reason why!
  • Download a Coloring Page and hang it up for others to see (Maybe a window in your home or office or on Social Media, or at your workspace)?
  • Share why you support survivors on Social Media (including our Facebook Page) using hashtags like:
    • #DenimDayMKE2021
    • #ApartNotAlone
    • #ThreadedTogether
    • #IAsk
    • #TeamTeal365
    • #YesMeansYes
    • #MeToo #LGBTQToo #TransToo
